voici un livre très complet sur la préhistoire du disco . tous y passe , les d j , les discothèques ,la naissance de ce nouveau style issu d'un mélange de funk, de soul, de pop et de musique latino-américaine. ainsi q'une foule d'anecdotes . vous comprendrez comment les d j de l'époque pouvais tenir la piste de danse sans le format 12" . comment tom moulton a créé le format 12" ( part accident) . la création de la table de mixage pour d j . des lieux insolites , tel que transformer une ancienne église en discothèque . les d j incluais des échantillons , de groupe hard rock ( Led Zeppelin ) dans leur set de mélange disco . comment ont été réalisé les mix sans compteur de bpm ( pour moi, un bon d j fais son mix avec l'ouïe, pas besoin de bpm ). se livre est aussi traduit en français .
